Job Description:
Responsible for applying consistent accounting principles and
procedures to record and analyze financial information, maintain
the integrity of the financial records, provide transparent and
accurate financial information to Sr.Management, prepare accurate
and timely financial reports, and ensure adherence to appropriate
accounting control procedures. Collaborate with Portfolio
Management and Community Management to review financials and
provide commentary on variances. Job Duties: Assist with review of
assigned property portfolio financial statements and other month
end responsibilities Perform monthly review of financials to assess
accuracy/completeness and variance analysis Partner with Portfolio
Management/Community Management to respond to financial statement
and budget analysis questions Prepare monthly/quarterly balance
sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accounts Manage
utility accruals and review. Act as liaison between stakeholders,
Energy Management Department and third party billing vendor Oversee
contract accruals Support other income collections and reporting
Responsible for timely and accurate ad-hoc reports as needed Assist
with audit requests as needed Leverage technology to improve
current processes Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum
Qualifications / Other Expectations: BA or BS in Accounting 5 years
accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate Management CPA or
MBA preferred Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented;
self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritize Advanced
knowledge of Excel and experience in report writing Ability to
effectively communicate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
across the organization Develop and provide solutions for a variety
of problems based on established precedents and policies
Compensation: Base Pay Range: $93,600.00 - $112,700.00 Actual
placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited
to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal
peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
