Job Description Job Description Gear Machinist Job Title: Gear Machinist Location: Garden Grove, CA Hourly Rate: $35 - $40 We are a leader in the Manufacturing industry and have been providing our customers with innovative, high-quality products for over 100 years. We are seeking an experienced gear machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with gear shaping, cutting, hobbing, & grinding to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the operation of the following CNC gear machining equipment and part inspection: Mitsubishi SE25A gear shaper Drake CNC hobber Reishauer gear grinder Other similar types of equipment Skills Required: 5 years of experience in CNC gear cutting. Experience with using gear shaping, hobbing, and grinding external and internal gears to drawing requirements. Experience with using manual and CMM inspection equipment to verify external and internal gears to drawing requirements. Strong knowledge of set-up, fixturing, gear cutting and grinding tools, feeds, and speeds Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
