Responsibilities Estimating Perform take-offs and identify labor, materials and equipment needed for the project. Generate a Bill of Materials required for each project. Solicit and secure quotes for all equipment and materials required and use this information to provide a complete bid for plumbing scope. Work in conjunction with the GC bid team to complete the overall project bid. Management Ability to manage multiple complex projects and consistently produce quality work. Ability to write and negotiate contracts and subcontracts. Ensure all project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality. Negotiate and process change orders, approve invoices, complete payment requests, control cost and budget, develop revenue and profit projections. Be accountable for profitability, schedule compliance, field and office quality assurance, customer satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain open communication with PMs and Superintendents. Time Management Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Ability to work with employees, management, vendors, and clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Analytical Skills Ability to solve problems that come up during day-to-day operations. Ability to analyze data. Confidently make decisions that affect the project on a regular basis. Qualifications and Skills Experience 4 years of plumbing estimating and project management experience. Experience with laboratory or medical gas systems preferred. Education Either 4 years of field experience or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Project management software Scheduling software Accounting cost management software Important Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills. Well-organized and reliable with great attention to detail. Ability to resolve complex issues with a can-do attitude.
