Use mathematical calculations and metric conversions to determine medication quantity necessary for admixture. Select proper medication strength(s)/vial(s) to reduce drug waste. Use aseptic techniques to prepare chemotherapies, immunotherapies, and other parenteral medications. Ensure each medication preparation is correctly labeled and double checked. Organize and maintain medication and supply inventories. Perform inventory control duties, including ordering, receiving, stocking, exchanging, and returning medications and supplies. Responsible for appropriate medication storage and dispensing. Responsible for appropriate EMR documentation and communication with staff.
