Fun Environment Stable work hours Full Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental) 401k Job Details Initial Schedule: •Tuesdays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM •Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM This role is expected to grow as the practice expands to more days and services. Back Office Duties: Room patients and assist with clinical flow. Take and record accurate vital signs and patient histories. Prepare and assist with in-office injections and minor orthopedic procedures. Ensure proper procedure setup, sterile technique, and post-procedure clean-up. Document visits accurately in the EMR system. Front Office Duties: Greet, check in, and check out patients with professionalism. Collect patient demographics, verify insurance information, and collect payments. Assist patients with necessary forms, including out-of-network documents. Answer phone calls, return messages, and schedule appointments efficiently. Educate patients on the out-of-network process and support them through insurance-related questions. Collaborative Responsibilities: Work closely with Doctor and his lead assistant to ensure seamless operations. Maintain clean and organized workspaces and exam rooms. Be adaptable and ready to help wherever needed in a growing private practice. Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required). Minimum 1–2 years of medical assistant experience, ideally in orthopedics or surgery. Proficient in EMR systems and digital communication tools. Strong understanding of insurance workflows, especially out-of-network billing. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Los Angeles and Marina del Rey. Interested in hearing more?
