Job Description Certification Details BLS Job Details Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the rehabilitation nursing field. Job Requirements 1 years’ experience required BLS required ACLS & PALS preferred Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a Floating required Additional Details Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers Patient Ratio: 1:5 Blocked scheduling may be accommodated, must include in body of submittal 48-hour guarantees are not approved Scrub color: Any color EMR system: MedHost
