90027! Job Title: Post Partum Nurse Profession: Client Child Health
(MCH) Specialty: Post Partum (PP) Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12
hours Hours per Shift: 07:30 PM to 08:00 AM Experience: 1 year of
recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is
provided Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Neonatal
Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform
electronic fetal monitoring Demonstrated IV skills and ability to
perform lab draws Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication
administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin) Demonstrated ability
to perform urine point of care testing Demonstrated knowledge of
capillary blood glucose testing Demonstrated knowledge of IStat
Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring
Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry
and cardiac monitoring Demonstrated ability to perform heel
sticks/venipuncture on newborns Demonstrated knowledge of newborn
medication including ability to perform IV administration and
maintenance Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets/lights
Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers Demonstrated knowledge to
support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training
Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching
Description: Candidates must possess a graduate degree from an
accredited nursing program. Experience in labor and delivery is
preferred. Experience in postpartum care is preferred. Experience
in medical/surgical nursing is preferred. Candidates should possess
strong communication skills and the ability to work in a
