Medical Assistant Location: Coronado, CA Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $23 to $25 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced and dependable Travel Medical Assistant (MA) for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced clinical setting and able to provide high-quality patient care while supporting physicians and nursing staff. Schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts with a rotating schedule that may include weekends. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient intake and obtain vital signs Conduct Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) Administer vaccines and medications as directed Assist providers during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient documentation Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of equipment Provide professional and compassionate patient care This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who is adaptable, organized, and comfortable in a dynamic travel assignment environment. Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience Active CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification Active BLS certification Strong clinical and patient care skills
