Job Description:
Overview Our scene layers team focuses on creating and working
with scalable 3D content across ArcGIS. This includes ArcGIS apps
such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS API for JavaScript. The scene layers
team develops and maintains new functionality around the
OGC-standards like I3S or 3D tiles specification, allowing our
users to do more with their data at each release and unleash The
Science of Where®. As a product engineer, you will help us test and
improve scene layer creation workflows and the development of
internal and external visualization tools for 3D. You will work on
maintaining existing tests and test harness automation. As part of
the scene layers team, you will enable new 3D capabilities across
the platform, including desktop, server, and web. You will be part
of an innovative team continuously looking for ways to improve and
release 3D technology even faster. Responsibilities Help design,
test, and document 3D workflows in ArcGIS Pro Troubleshoot
production issues in current and past software platform versions
Collaborate with development programmers and product engineers to
build and test functionality for current and future 3D scene layers
Build and maintain test scenarios that validate ArcGIS scene layers
technology Work closely with other teams to assure integration of
scene layers into the ArcGIS 3D platform Requirements 1 years of
professional experience using C# or Python Strong analytical
problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively identify
issues and develop innovative solutions Demonstrated organizational
skills in prioritizing tasks, and managing project timelines Proven
ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies Bachelor’s in
GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or related field
Recommended Qualifications Knowledge of 3D visualization techniques
and how to test them in different environments Experience with web
technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript Master’s in GIS,
computer science, computer engineering, or related field LI-RC2

rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for
this role take into account many factors including but not limited
to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and

reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $68,640-$98,592 USD
