Northrop Grumman is currently looking for an experienced Modeling &
Simulation Systems Engineer 3 or 4 with a background in C++ . The
Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer will work with our C++ based
simulations of the AARGM-ER family of missiles to verify weapon
system requirements. This will assist in developing weapon systems
requirements verifications, scenarios to verify those requirements,
analyzing the results using MATLAB or python tools, and digging
into the C++ source code of the simulation to track down reasons
for apparent requirements failures (Actual issue with the system
itself, the system software, or the model representation in C++).
The Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer will also do extensive
testing of the simulations themselves to verify their suitability
for weapon systems requirements verification. Later tasks will vary
between software-centric or analysis-centric. Basic Qualifications
for a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer - (Level 03): BS
degree in aerospace engineering, physics, software engineering,
systems engineering, or a related field is required with 5 years of
experience or an MS degree in areas above with 3 years of
experience. Previous experience, and proficiency in developing or
troubleshooting C or C++ applications on Windows, and preferably on
Linux. Significant experience with either MATLAB or python, with
demonstrable experience and skills in using these for data analysis
or building analysis tools. Experience applying principles of
dynamics/kinematics to analysis or software development. Experience
should be specifically applicable to missile systems, though the
experience can be in other areas. May consider experience with
sensor modeling in liu of this. Experience in at least one of the
following: 1 – requirements development and verification, including
developing requirements, devising requirements verification
methods, executing those verifications, and documenting the
results; 2 - Jenkins or other DevOps tools; 3 - AFSIM and/or JSE; 4
- working with a Hardware-In-The-Loop system; or 5 - embedded
software development Current US Government Secret level clearance
with ability to be cleared for SAP (Special Access Program) Basic
Qualifications for a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer -
(Level 04): BS degree in aerospace engineering, physics, software
engineering, systems engineering, or a related field is required
with 8 years of experience or an MS degree in areas above with 6
years of experience. Previous experience, and proficiency in
developing or troubleshooting C or C++ applications on Windows, and
preferably on Linux. Significant experience with either MATLAB or
python, with demonstrable experience and skills in using these for
data analysis or building analysis tools. Experience applying
principles of dynamics/kinematics to analysis or software
development. Experience should be specifically applicable to
missile systems, though the experience can be in other areas. Will
also consider experience with sensor modeling in liu of this.

Experience as a charge account manager, or other experience with
EVMS Experience as a scrum master (beyond just running scrum
meetings) or scrum product owner. Experience running Monte Carlo
simulations Experience working with an HPC system Familiar with
make files or CMAKE. Experience in estimating/planning budget and
schedule, and in tracking to that plan. Specific experience in
doing so via an agile paradigm. Experience with SysML, preferably

Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00 Secondary Level Salary
Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00 The above salary range represents
a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number
of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope
and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
