Diagnostics campuses in Carlsbad, CA. At GenMark, we specialize in
developing and manufacturing medical devices that target early
disease detection, including respiratory and gastrointestinal
conditions. Our team works closely with the production and R&D
departments to transform hypotheses into groundbreaking products.As
the Scientist Analytical Development, you will work to provide
analytical chemistry support for the analysis of the raw materials
and reagents used in Medical Devices. At DOGG Operations, we are

talented people who work here.As a Scientist in the area of
Diagnostics, your main responsibilities include the development and
validation of UPLC test methods, LC-MS oligonucleotide analysis,
and some routine sample testing. You work with other scientists and
engineers in the organization and inspire others with your
technologicalinsights and creative ideas.The OpportunityYou have
experience in UPLC and/or LC-MS test methods development and
validation, and scout for innovative technologies to analyze
oligonucleotides, small molecules, and proteins. You have
demonstrated the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and validate
complex, sensitive UPLC and LC-MS test methods for raw materials
and reagents. The test methods you develop will be used in QC in
support of medical device production efforts.In the role you will
be working approx. 75% of your time hands-on with the different
analytical systems and software. You have hands-on UPLC or HPLC
experience and understand the challenges of methods development.
You inspire other scientists and associates and work
collaboratively with other departments.Oversight and coordination
of analytical requests within a project including direct
communication to stakeholders and customers. You support product
investigations and raw material testing in the SSI QC departmentWho
