an organized and motivated Technical?Support Specialist to work in
our Solar Service Department at our El Cajon location.?Under the
general direction of the Service Manager, the Solar Technical
Support Specialist?performs a wide variety of troubleshooting and
customer service duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated,
dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will
have high attention to detail?and a genuine care to his/her work
craft. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to
effectively troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical solar
issues.Please note: This position is required to work Saturday and
Sunday
Responsibilities:
Remotely troubleshoot installed solar systems displaying systems of
poor performance based on monitoring dataWork with equipment
vendors to diagnose hardware failuresEscalate unresolved technical
issues by scheduling a field technician to troubleshoot on
siteCreating and configuring monitoring portals for customer solar
systems in appropriate manufacturer software (Solar Edge, SunPower,
and Enphase)Provide exceptional customer service via phone and
emailCreating and configuring monitoring portals for customer solar
systems onlineConduct ongoing performance monitoring of solar
systemsConducting consistent follow ups with customers via
phoneReporting and notating customer accountsLocating/retrieving
customer information on Salesforce and other CRMS as
neededPerforming general office administration work and other tasks
as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) requiredAbility to
work with minimal supervision requiredHigh School diplomas or
general education degree (GED) requiredPreferred Qualifications:A
minimum of 2 years'?experience in a solar field role highly
preferredExperience with SolarEdge Portal, SunPower Portal, or
Enphase Portal highly preferredExperience with failure
analysis/diagnosis and the processes used to facilitate
themPrevious troubleshooting experience is a plusExperience with
Salesforce and Excel is a plus Pay: $20-27 per hour DOEThis
